Our Information Officer handles all privacy queries, requests and complaints.
We collect personal information to provide quotes and detailing services at your premises, to record each job (via video and photographs) for quality and inspection purposes, to process cashless payments, to assess franchise applications, and to operate our App and Website. We only process information where POPIA allows it, usually to perform a contract, to meet a legal duty, for our legitimate interests, or with your consent.
We will only send you direct marketing where the law permits or where you have consented. You can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing info@safetouch.co.za.
If you apply to become a franchisee, we collect more sensitive information, including your ID/passport number, financial standing, and the results of criminal/background checks carried out with your explicit consent. This information is treated as special personal information under POPIA, kept secure, shared only with our screening providers, and retained only as long as needed. You may withdraw consent, though we may then be unable to process your application.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact our Information Officer to do so.
